explorer4x4 ◊ 2006-04-12 18:22 Zoner photo studio x activation key. | Wait, so they used to vans for the Scooby-Doo movie? Man, they are cheap! And wasn't the origenal Mystery Machine (or whatever they call it) something more classic like a third generation Ford Econoline E-150 or a Dodge Ram Van? |
◊ 2006-06-30 16:23 | It was hard to tell what the mystery machine in the cartoon was. IT seemed like a Chevrolet Van, a Dodge A100, and a Ford Econoline all put together. |
◊ 2014-09-05 03:56 | In the original cartoon series, it was a mix of numerous 1960s vans. I saw design elements of the Dodge A-100, Ford Econoline, and various pre-1971 Chevy/GMC vans. I also saw hints of Volkswagen Bus in it as well. In the animated films 'Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island' (1998) and 'Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost' (1999), the Mystery Machine is obviously a 1995 Chevrolet Astro or GMC Safari cargo van. It is easily identifiable as such because it has the streamlined headlamps of the 1996-newer models but the interior of the 1990-1994 models. This style was exclusive to 1995, as 1994-older models retained the original front fascia while 1996 models got a completely redesigned interior with dual airbags. For a cartoon, the dashboard and interior are incredibly well-detailed in my opinion. -- Last edit: 2020-11-18 05:49:36 |

◊ 2016-03-11 21:33 | Are the side doors original? |
◊ 2016-03-11 21:47 | Gag Halfrunt wrote Are the side doors original? I don't think so. The hinges and handle are not standard Bedford parts I believe and the double doors rather narrow. A single hinged door 908mm (36in) wide was used as the side loading door. |
◊ 2016-03-11 21:52 | Seems all locations were Aus so local build likely. Strange doors may therefore be not so strange??? |
◊ 2016-03-12 15:14 | ..but its left hand drive as would be expected for the movie (unless there's some filming trickery?). Did Australia also export LHD Bedfords to the Asia/Pacific markets? |
◊ 2017-10-01 03:38 | i always thought it was a modified Chevy Van/GMC Vandura. |

The standard CF Bedford is nearly done, I've mounted the engine and transmission, the diff is just about finished (put the commodore centre in the bedford diff), have put the commodore gas tank in the bedford (needed electric fuel pump and return line so was just as easy to swap).
